I think its just 1 year completed when Apple released its last OS X Lion. Now within 1 year of short span apple released its new OS called as Mountain Lion from its predecessor name Lion. Just like Android they are continuously working to release new and new products with more and more features and upgrades. Mountain Lion is that type of product.
It has a name like Mountain Lion but its totally different from the previous version of Lion. And more importantly you have to give just $20 for this OS.
Installation:
It has almost all the installation procedure automatically. The whole setup file is around 4.5 GB, and it will take 20 minute to 30 minute for Lion and Snow Leopard respectively for upgradation.
Social networks integration:
The biggest and most important change is that , it's compatible with Facebook,twitter integration and you can share your pictures,status updates very easily with new OS.
Apple had tried to put all the major features of iOS in their computer OS X Mountain Lion. You can see Airdrop,Email,Twitter,Facebook,Pinterst anywhere in the OS.
One thing I noticed here that Apple first time included third party applications like Twitter and Facebook and they both work pretty well. You can share photos,send messages,make tweets and surf the media rapidly.
Notification widget:
If you look at Android and iOS then you have to find biggest advantage of that is the Notification center which can be accessed with just one touch. You can control your system with just that widget and iOS like center is included here to provide it a big advantage.
AirPlay for Apple TV:
If you want to use your laptop with your Apple TV and share the video of laptop then this is the must have reason to upgrade to new OS. You can play is using AirPlay and AirPlay mirroring. You don't need any other connectivity, it can easily play both audio and video.
iCloud integration:
Apple released iCloud last year, and after its release it was obvious that they will include it in their new OS. They also didn't made us unhappy. Now a days everything is Cloudy. In other sense everything which needs storage have best option to store them on cloud.
iCloud is one of that dark feature of this OS is ,which works in background and and make your work very easy by working almost automatically.
Other apps update:
Apple also upgraded their browser Safari, and it works more rapidly and easily as before.
Notes,Remainder and Calender also have a new look and they works like back stones of the OS which helps us in daily life.
