Earlier there were years when palmtop computers were in the market but they could not make any big impact. But now the scenario is changed and hybrid of laptop and mobile phone come into the picture. People want multiple functionality of both.
Now I am coming back on my current review of Kindle Fire HD which is made by Amazon. Kindle Fire HD is made from high quality premium plastic which gives it premium finish and fits in your hands comfortably.
It has 7 inch full HD 1280 x 800 display. The display is one of the best display among its other competitors having sharp picture resolution and superb touch sensitivity. Kindle Fire HD comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich,which makes a little disappointment because other tablets come with more advanced Jelly Bean OS.
But the customized Android OS have pretty good changed and it does not feel you that you are not using the latest OS, and it makes user experience enjoyable.
Another issue is that, the product is made by Amazon. Thus it does not support the traditional Google Play Store which is default market to but Android applications. But it has its own Amazon's app store which is accessible. This app store supports jail breaking which is not possible in case of Apple's app store and you can install third party apps.
Another advantage of Kindle Fire HD is, it has dual antenna and dual band. They make it dual powerful for wi-fi and networks. This is required because supporting HD video, the wi-fi should me much powerful, and this is done by using MIMO(multiple in/multiple out) technology.
People generally go for iPad, but I personally think that this tablet is also as good as iPad and comes with much lower price than it. So if you are in mood to buy a tablet, consider this one definitely.
